  • Amy has led many Parents Place workshops, including Ready-Set-Go! Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten, Triple P Positive Parenting Program, and Toddler Social Club. A former preschool owner, director, and teacher, she has also worked as a parent educator and socialization and play group leader. Amy’s areas of expertise include adoption and young children, preschool and pre-kindergarten curriculum, early childhood program management, and the social and emotional development of young children. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and human development from the University of the Pacific and her master’s degree in education, with an emphasis in early childhood and cognate counseling, from Sonoma State University.
