  • Amy Weiss has been the director of Parents Place San Francisco since September 2006. She is a licensed marriage family and child counselor with more than 30 years of experience working with adults, couples, families, and children, and she has expertise in infant-parent mental health, bereavement, disabilities, health psychology, and eye movement and desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR). Prior to joining Parents Place, Amy was the director of clinical services and training at Jewish Family and Children's Services of the East Bay. She has also worked at Hospice of San Francisco, Through the Looking Glass, and the World Institute on Disability, and has maintained a private practice since 1986.
