  • An authority on adoption issues, a staff member of JFCS’ Adoption Connection, and an adoptive parent, Heidi has been assisting families with adoptions for more than a decade. Most recently, she presented the How to Talk to Your Child about Adoption, Birthparent Relationships, and four-week Preparing for Adoption workshops at Parents Place. Heidi graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work and master’s degree in human development and family studies, with an emphasis on early childhood development.
