Casey Heckman, MSE

Behavioral Specialist

Casey has supervised and implemented comprehensive programs for children with special needs in a variety of settings, including home, school, and community, providing support for families in assessing appropriate services. She has specialized training in applied behavioral analysis (ABA) as well as developmentally appropriate, play- based, and social-competence interventions, including DIR®/Floortime.™ Casey holds a master’s degree in special education and early intervention from San Francisco State University, where she worked with Project Mosaic, a program focusing on the diverse needs of children who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Casey also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication from the University of California, Davis.
