At Other Sites

Parents Place Express brings parenting workshops and expert consultation services directly to schools, parents' clubs, and other community organizations, as well as to businesses, enabling busy parents to get the information and support they need.

Workshops

More than 50 different educational workshops are now available for parents and teachers. Our popular topics include Healthy Eating Habits, Choosing a Preschool or School, Anger Management, Co-Parenting, and a variety of discipline-related workshops for various age groups. Our expert parent educators offer workshops at convenient times of your choosing and can tailor the topics to your needs.

Dynamic Instructors

Our instructors hold advanced degrees in education, child development, or counseling, and are well versed in a wide range of topics--from early childhood education through the high school years to children's developmental issues and parenting concerns.

Educational Evenings

A parents' club educational package could include a number of evening workshops, as well as special gifts, such as free Drop-in Playtime visit cards or workshop discounts, for individual members. We can tailor the workshops to the topics your members are interested in, and each evening workshop can be an educational as well as a social evening--at our location or yours!

In addition to taking our excellent parenting workshops "on the road" to parents through preschools, elementary schools, and high schools, we also provide excellent support to teachers of preschoolers through high schoolers with topic-related workshops at school sites.

Parenting Education Yields Big Returns for Business

Parents Place Express provides a way for businesses to help their employees better juggle home and work life responsibilities by offering current education on their most pressing parenting concerns: eating and sleeping habits, toileting, child care and preschools, and--for older children--peer pressure, bullying, academic success, and more.

Offering such workshops can lead to enhanced staff morale and productivity, less absenteeism, increased staff camaraderie, and a family-friendly workplace. Annual corporate services can include:

  • One-hour workshops, at lunchtime or after work, that can be offered at your or other locations via teleconference or other means
  • Telephone and email consultations with a child- development specialist and/or parent educator
  • Drop-in Play cards good for five visits to our Drop-in Playtime
  • A one-year membership in our Parents Place Parenting Resources Library

Parenting Services at No Cost to Your Company

If you have a group of 10 or more participants and can provide us with a space in which to run the program, your employees can schedule the parenting education workshop of their choice and register and pay their fees directly to Parents Place.
