When you have an argument with your child, you might notice that your stomach clenches or your head hurts. How you feel and what you think has an actual effect on your physical body.

One way to change your relationship to stress is through mindfulness, or living in the here and now by listening to your body and mind.  In this class, you will learn the following:  current research on the efficacy of mindfulness for stress reduction and improved self-care; coping skills to reduce stress and to enhance quality of life at home and work; and, specific meditation practices to use in daily life.  Instructor:  Vickie Chang, Ph.D.
