Erica Pelavin, LCSW, PhD
Family Therapist
A family psychologist with more than 15 years of experience in working with children, adolescents, and their families in both individual and group settings, Erica specializes in bullying prevention, relational aggression, cyber safety, and conflict resolution. Erica has been trained and certified to teach the Committee for Children's Steps to Respect and Second Step Bullying Prevention curricula. In addition to her work with families, she facilitates both parenting and teacher seminars on a variety of topics, including sibling rivalry, temperament, parenting as partners, and raising boys. She earned her PhD in organizational psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology and has a Master’s degree in social work from New York University School of Social Work. She earned the BA degree in sociology and psychology at Clark University. She is the coauthor of “Family Therapy,” a chapter in the book Current Psychotherapies, by Raymond J. Corsini and Danny Wedding.
