This 10-session group is for children from the ages of 3 to 5 years old who are experiencing difficulty in preschool settings. The social skills group will incorporate preschool-like activities, such as songs, interactive play, games, books, and music. Children will practice and learn how to interact with other peers in a group setting. This social skills group will also include a snack— and the preparation, eating, and cleaning up! There will also be a parent component that includes: 15 minutes at the end of each session, two parent meetings, and one individual parent meeting. This will allow you to learn about your child’s progress and to be supported by other parents, like you.
