Alison Gopnik, author of The Scientist in the Crib and Philosophical Baby, is a professor of psychology and affiliate professor of philosophy at the University of California at Berkeley.  She will discuss her latest book, Philosophical Baby, an insightful look at what children’s minds tell us about truth, love, and the meaning of life.  Alison’s books will be available for sale, and there will be refreshments and ample time for questions and discussion after Alison’s talk.  This event is presented by Parents Place, The Friends of the SF Public Library, and Golden Gate Mothers Group.
