Mimi Greisman has been an Early Childhood and Family Educator for many years.  As an asthmatic herself, and having a son with severe asthma, she has led many groups for parents of children with asthma and allergies focusing on the emotional piece and how having a child with an "invisible difference" affects the whole family.

Mimi has written a thesis on this topic, in the process interviewing numerous parents to gain further perspective.

Mimi's groups have strong interactive participation.  All the parents get a chance to speak and  share their own stories.  Dictated by need/interest, this group has the potential to develop into an ongoing discussion/support group.
