CTI Long Distance Program Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions

Welcome to the CTI Long Distance program. To continue as a CTI Long Distance participant, you must agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions:

A. Confidentiality: The privacy of the materials and content of the CTI sessions are protected by HIPAA provisions and by JFCS policy. No portion of the content and information provided is to be shared or distributed. Only presenters and registered CTI Long Distance participants are permitted to view sessions. The confidentiality of transmitted materials is protected primarily through passwords of invited participants as they log on to didactic presentations or group consultations. It is a violation of CTI Long Distance training policies for participants to share passwords.

B. Confidentiality Disclaimer: CTI sessions are encrypted when traveling over the Internet, using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. Nevertheless, JFCS does not guarantee that these transmissions are secure from unintended parties obtaining them.

C. Content: CTI believes that information presented is correct and suitable and makes reasonable efforts to correct any errors brought to our attention. However, CTI and JFCS do not guarantee the accuracy of the information and disclaim liability for any damages resulting from reliance upon the information presented.

D. Technical Issues: JFCS will make all reasonable efforts to provide a training experience free of disruptions. However, a certain amount of “tech talk” and troubleshooting may be necessary. The patience of both remote and on-site participants is appreciated.

In the event that technical issues, presenter unavailability, or situations beyond the control of JFCS causes the cancellation of a scheduled session, CTI will make reasonable efforts to reschedule that session. However, we cannot guarantee that scheduled presenters will be available.

Disturbances that may develop from faults or interruptions in telecommunications and the Internet are excluded from liability claims.

CTI and JFCS assume no liability for any damage to or viruses that may infect your computer equipment or other property from use of this site.

E. Recordings: For a limited time, recordings of each of the didactic training sessions will be made available to participants and presenters through JFCS. Participants may view the recorded sessions. However, be aware that video files or other content provided by presenters may be excluded from this recording upon the presenter’s request. The group consultations will not be recorded.

Agreement: By entering the CTI Long Distance learning site, I indicate that I have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.
