Holly Pedersen, PhD, LMFT

Coordinator of Family Violence Prevention Services

Holly’s areas of expertise are childhood abuse and trauma, domestic violence and violence prevention, conflict resolution, and bullying prevention. She has taught family sociology at the University of Southern California. Other professional experience includes providing child custody mediation for Los Angeles Family Court Services and serving as the executive director of a non-profit agency that provides mental health services to abused and neglected children.
 

Holly developed a comprehensive bullying prevention training program for inner-city schools in Southern California and has provided school-based assessments and counseling to special-needs students for the Santa Clara County Department of Mental Health. She has a PhD in sociology and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Southern California.
