Kavod Crew

The Kavod Crew is the YouthFirst volunteer program for teens who would like to become more active in the Jewish community. There are monthly service learning events addressing the needs of diverse communities in San Francisco. Activities include holiday outreach, visiting seniors, delivering meals to JFCS clients, and much more!

Thursday, October 14, 2010, 4 pm – 8 pm: Assisting at the Preschool Preview Night fair, hosted by Parents Place.

Sunday, November 7, 2010, 9 am - 12 pm:  Sorting donations at the San Francisco Food Bank. 

Monday, December 7, 2010, 6 pm – 7:30 pm: Hosting a Hannukah party for emigre seniors at Eden Villa Apartments.

Sunday, January 23, 2011, 9:30 am - 1:45 pm: Serving lunch to the low-income population at St. Anthony's.

Sunday, February 13, 2011, 5:30 pm - 7:45 pm: Cooking a meal for the families staying at the Ronald McDonald House.

Sunday, March 20, 2011, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm: Hosting a Purim Party for seniors at Coventry Park Apartments.

Friday, April 22, 2011, 11:30 am - 3:30 pm: Assisting at the Tenderloin Outreach Passover Seder.
