Parent Educator

Formerly the Parents Place education coordinator in San Francisco—a post she held for more than 20 years—Lee Ann is a recognized expert in early childhood and parent education. She has developed and presented many classes over the years, including “Choosing a Kindergarten,” “Positive Discipline,” “Raising Sons / Raising Daughters,” and “Ready, Set, Go: Preparing for Preschool.” She earned her bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University, where she also received her master’s degree in counseling and a teaching credential in secondary education.
