Parent/Child Activity Groups

Since 1975, the Parents Place playroom has been a home away from home for parents and children and a place where lifelong friendships develop.

From cooking (Look! I Can Cook!/Little Chefs) to singing and movement (Boogie to the Beat) to making sure your child is ready for his or her first preschool experience (Ready, Set, Go! Preparing for Preschool) to just plain "hanging out" (Drop-in Play), we have activities and workshops for everyone.

Our Playroom Coordinator, Jeni Clancy, and our Education Coordinator, Lee Ann Slaton, keep our playroom in tip-top shape with the latest in interactive toys, as well as the old-fashioned favorites, such as train tracks, a play kitchen, and more.  Our wonderful maintenance staff comes in every night to make sure that everything is fresh, shiny, and clean for another day of fun!
