Dyadic Child-Parent Psychotherapy

During dyadic child-parent psychotherapy, the parent or another caregiver who serves as an important attachment figure for the child is present with him or her during therapy sessions. The focus is on the child-parent interaction and on empowering the parent to become the key agent of therapeutic change.
