Parent Educator

As a parent educator, Ann provides parenting support to families, helping them better understand child development, temperament styles, and behavioral issues so that they can successfully enhance their relationships with their children. Her recent Parents Place workshops have included Positive Discipline for the Preschool Years and Becoming Attached: Fostering Your Child’s First Relationships. Ann’s other areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, adolescents, attachment issues, family conflict, and working with parents of children with ADHD and other neurodevelopmental issues to find strategies to improve focus, organization, and behavior. Ann earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and her master’s degree in counseling from the University of San Francisco.
