Parent Educator

Anya facilitates the Parents Place workshop Choosing the Best Elementary School for Your Child. A credentialed elementary school teacher, she has also worked as a school counselor and community mediator. In addition, she has worked within schools to develop and implement alternative curricula focusing on nutrition, conflict management, and project-based learning. Anya graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a bachelor’s degree in human development. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in education, with an emphasis on differentiating curriculum for various types of learners.
