Parent Educator

Dave has more than 15 years of clinical experience. At Parents Place he leads workshops on parental and child anger, fathering issues, and other timely topics. His other areas of expertise include chemical dependency, adolescent treatment, and at-risk students. During his career, Dave has designed and implemented programs for children, youth, and families in a variety of settings, including juvenile halls, group homes, and schools. A graduate of San Francisco State University, Dave holds a master’s degree from the Professional School of Psychology. He also has an adult teaching credential focusing on family management, human development, and parent education and a counseling credential for the public schools.
